I'm Tim. I've spent 14 years building, operating, and advising companies across cross-border commerce, ecommerce technology, and AI. Three of those years were as a C-suite operator inside Carbon6, which sold to a publicly-traded buyer in 2024.
Today I'm a founder — building Foundry Ventures, an AI-native infrastructure play for the internal portfolio. A growth strategist — running GrowthHive, the advisory practice I started in 2017. And a builder — still in the seat with the founders I work with, not on the sideline.

Founder
Three concurrent ventures. Foundry Ventures is the AI-native infrastructure surface for our internal portfolio. GrowthHive is the advisory practice. Project Silk is the cross-border brand operation, with offices in the USA and Shenzhen. Currently chair of the Accio Work Product & GTM Advisory Board at Alibaba.
Chief Strategy Officer, then Chief Community Officer
Owned the strategic core — acquisition strategy, GTM, and product-to-community mapping — through to Carbon6's acquisition by a publicly traded buyer for $240M, three years after founding. Across the M&A pipeline we vetted hundreds of companies and acquired and integrated 21+ SaaS solutions into one ecosystem.
Chief Growth Officer
During my tenure we built and shipped the virtual bank account product, eventually running across 200+ countries in 37 currencies.
Executive Growth Strategist
To the U.S. CEO. Led the strategic development and deployment of the North American GTM.
